Cooking with Chillies

Nachos

Empty packet of corn chips on to a baking tray. Liberally spoon on Crazy Fred's Garlic Dip and a few jalapeno's to taste. Sprinkle grated cheese over the top and grill until cheese is melted. Serve with Crazy Fred's Garlic Dip and/or Crazy Fred's Salsa.

Spicy Spaghetti Bolognese

Add 2 tablespoons of Crazy Fred's Chilli Sauce to your normal spaghetti bolognaise sauce. Brush Crazy Fred's Garlic Dip onto bruchetta slices and grill for 2 mins, as your own spicy garlic bread.

Hot Chilli Con Carne

Add 4 tablespoons of Crazy Fred's Chilli Sauce or Crazy Fred's Chilli Lime Sauce to your normal chilli con-carne sauce. Ariba Ariba! Use Crazy Fred's Salsa with tortilla chips as an accompaniment.

Hot Fajitas

Fry strips of beef, chicken, peppers and onions until cooked. At the last minute add 4 tablespoons of Crazy Fred's Chilli Sauce or Crazy Fred's Chilli Lime Sauce and stir until all mixture has been coated. Serve with warm tortillas. Use Crazy Fred's Salsa to put inside the warm tortilla before adding the fajita mixture and making a wrap. Also use Crazy Fred's Garlic Dip with a hint of Chilli as an accompaniment with your tortilla chips.

Stuffed Mushrooms

Remove stems from large mushrooms. Put a tablespoon of Fred's Crazy Carrot and Coriander Chutney into mushroom cap and sprinkle with grated cheese. (Parmesan is nice, then again so is cheddar, or a spoon of cream cheese). Grill the stuffed mushrooms for 5 minutes or until cheese has melted.

Sensational Salmon

Spread a layer of Crazy Fred's Sun Blushed Tomato onto fresh salmon portions, and put under grill for about 20 minutes (until cooked). This renders you with mouth watering flavours with a crispy top. Goes really well with couscous.

Thai Green Curry

Fry chopped onions with either chicken or quorn pieces until cooked. Add 2 to 3 spoons of Crazy Fred's Lime and Coconut Chutney and half a tin of coconut milk to create a tasty warming Thai green curry. Eat with plain boiled rice.

Michelin 5 star Scallops

With each scallop, add 1 teaspoon of Crazy Fred's Caramelised Onion Chutney, then wrap scallop with a thin slice of Parma ham, then fry scallops in olive oil for 2 to 3 minutes until cooked. This starter is guaranteed to make you win on Come Dine With Me
